Russian-Austrian art&science project DUST

Object in focus of the exhibition, — the dust — is given in our perception in two notions: dust as a kind of «building material» from which the universe is born: space dust turns into stars and planets, pollen fertilises a flower. Second notion is of dust as a metaphor of destruction, a sign of the past; the track of destruction of the material.

Initiative of Austrian cultural forum Moscow

The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) project offers young Russian curators internships in contemporary art institutions in France, Germany, Sweden, Romania, Austria and the UK giving them unique opportunities to network and develop their practice. It also aims to build wider links and shared activity in the future between Russian and European contemporary art curators and institutions. Applications will be accepted till May 31.
