On October 8, we invite you to a screening of the Austrian film “Wildlife 2.0: Adapting to a New World” and the opening of the 16th International Documentary Film Festival about Nature, People, and Environmental Initiatives “Ecocup '26”. 

Guest gathering starts at 5:00 PM, the film screening begins at 6:00 PM

Before the screening, guests can take part in activities from the festival partners.

The festival will open with the premiere screening of the Austrian film “Wildlife 2.0: Adapting to a New World” (dir. Patrick Centurioni, 6+). The film tells the story of how wild animals adapt to the modern landscapes of Central Europe, which are changing under the influence of humans—cities, industrial zones, and transport arteries. Finding themselves in human-created environments, they discover unexpected ways to survive and turn “workarounds” into their new homes. The film shows not only the challenges faced by wildlife, but also initiatives to protect the environment and restore these animals’ natural habitats.

Duration: 50 minutes

After the screening, viewers will be able to discuss the interaction between humans and nature, the film’s ideas, and ask questions to invited experts.
